Event Details

You are invited to Argonne’s first annual community celebration and multi-cultural potluck! The purpose of the event is for Argonne families to get to know each other by sharing a meal (we are sure there will be lots of great food from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds!) and having facilitated small group discussions about the many ways we can build a strong and inclusive community at our school and support our diverse families.

Date/Time: Thursday, Jan.21, 2010  6pm - 8:15pm (Potluck from 6 to 6:45pm; Community Conversation from 7 to 8:15pm)

Location: Argonne Multi-Purpose Room & Library

Potluck: Please just bring a dish that would be enough for the number of people attending from your family.

Small Group Conversation: We need facilitators for each grade level, please help! The conversations are designed for parents to support each other through sharing resources and knowledge. We also hope some teachers will be able to join us!
